While reading the book Uljhan by Shivali Shrivastava, I realized what human feeling are truly capable of. They can paint the blank canvas of mind with words that have deep-rooted meanings. This wonderful collection of poems has all those elements we feel connected to in real life. These poems are about life, love, family, society, pain and about all those crossroads we face in life.
The poet has curated her feelings into this book as the form of poetry that portrays the deep thoughts of her mind. While reading the poems I could feel the song the poet’s soul was singing while writing such poetic lines. There was one poem where she portrayed the love between a daughter and her mother. Each word of that poem was screaming about the pain that daughter might have felt.
I will definitely miss reading the time I spent with this poetry collection. The poet is amazing with her words and showing her emotions. A marvellous read!

मेरा नाम शिवाली श्रीवास्तव है। मैं मीडिया की जानकार हूं। साथ ही लेखन में रुचि रखती हूं। ये मेरी पहली कविता संग्रह है। मुझे आज भी याद है जब मैंने अपनी पहली कविता लिखी थी कभी सोचा नहीं था कि कविता का संग्रह कर पाऊंगी। अपनी पुस्तक से पाठकों में दोबारा पढ़ने की भावना जागृत करना है। उम्मीद है पाठकगण मेरी इस किताब को बेहद प्यार देंगे।
